Arma Reforger uses a single in-game Multiplayer server browser on every platform — PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 all join the same way. This guide shows you how to find your Wasabi Hosting server, save it as a favorite, and what to expect the first time you join a modded server.

Before You Start: Know Your Server Details

If it’s your own server, grab the details players will search for:
1

Open the Game Panel

Log in to the Wasabi Hosting Game Panel and select your Arma Reforger server. The IP address and game port are shown on the server overview.
2

Note your server name

The name players search for is the name value in the game block of your server config — see Server Configuration. Make it distinctive.
3

Confirm the server is online

Check the Console shows the server fully started (scenario loaded, no errors). A server that’s still downloading mods won’t appear in the browser yet.

Joining via the Server Browser

1

Open the Multiplayer browser

From the Arma Reforger main menu, select Multiplayer. The server list loads automatically — it can take a few seconds to populate fully.
2

Search for your server

Use the search field at the top of the browser and type your server’s name exactly as set in your config (the name value in the game block — see Server Configuration). Unique names are much easier to find, so avoid generic names like “Conflict Server”.
3

Apply filters if needed

The browser includes filters for crossplay, modded/unmodded, official vs. community, player count, and version. If your server doesn’t appear, clear all filters first — an active “unmodded only” filter will hide a modded server, for example.
4

Join and favorite

Select the server and press Join. Once you’ve found it, mark it as a favorite (star icon) so it appears under your favorites filter next time without searching.
The search field also accepts direct address input on PC — try entering your server’s IP:port (for example 203.0.113.10:2001) to filter straight to your server. Your server’s address and port are shown in the Game Panel.

Mods Download Automatically

If the server runs Workshop mods, Reforger downloads them automatically when you join — you don’t install anything manually. Keep these points in mind:
  • The first join on a heavily modded server can take several minutes to much longer, depending on total mod size and your connection.
  • Downloads resume if interrupted, and already-downloaded mods are reused across servers.
  • This works on consoles too — Xbox and PlayStation players download the same Workshop mods.
Server owners: the fewer and smaller the mods, the faster new players get in. See Installing Mods for how mods are added server-side.

Crossplay Notes

  • Console players can only see servers that have their platform enabled in the server’s supportedPlatforms setting. If your Xbox or PlayStation friends can’t find the server, that’s the first thing to check.
  • PC players can join any server they’re allowed on, including console-enabled ones.
  • All platforms must be on the same game version — after a game update, wait until both your client and the server have updated.

Troubleshooting

Check, in order: the server is actually online (green status in the Game Panel); all browser filters are cleared; visible is set to true in the server config; and your platform is listed in supportedPlatforms. If it just started, give it a minute — new servers can take a moment to register with the browser backend.
Arma Reforger updates require the server and client to run the same version. On patch day, update your game client, then restart the server from the panel so it pulls the new server build. Modded servers may additionally need mod updates — outdated mods can block joining until their authors update them.
Reforger shows current/max players in the browser. If the server is at its maxPlayers cap, you’ll need to wait for a slot and retry — keep the server favorited and refresh. Server owners can raise maxPlayers (up to 128) in the config, though higher counts need more server resources.
Cancel and rejoin — downloads resume where they left off. If a specific mod repeatedly fails, it may have just been updated or removed from the Workshop; ask the server admin to check the mod list. You can also pre-download mods from the in-game Workshop menu before joining.
