# Arma Reforger Server Hosting - Getting Started Guide

Welcome to Arma Reforger server hosting at Wasabi Hosting! Arma Reforger is Bohemia Interactive's military simulation platform built on the modern **Enfusion engine** — the same technology powering the future of the Arma series. Whether you want a persistent Conflict warzone for your unit, a co-op Combat Ops server for friends, or a Game Master sandbox where you build scenarios live, this section covers everything you need to run your server.

## The Enfusion Engine

Reforger is the first full game on Enfusion, and it shows: large-scale terrain streaming, realistic ballistics, dynamic weather and time of day, and a physics-driven simulation that keeps dozens of vehicles, AI groups, and players active at once. That simulation runs on the **server's CPU** — which is exactly why hosting hardware matters more for Reforger than for most games.

## Game Modes

| **Game Master (GM)** | Sandbox / curated       | A real-time editor where the Game Master spawns units, vehicles, and objectives while players fight through the scenario — Reforger's "Zeus" experience.               |

The mode your server runs is set by the `scenarioId` in your server configuration — see [Server Configuration](/games/arma-reforger/server-configuration) for the exact values.

## Full Crossplay

Arma Reforger supports **full crossplay between PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5**. You control which platforms can join through the `supportedPlatforms` setting in your server config, so you can run an all-platforms community server or a PC-only hardcore milsim — your choice.

## Workshop Mods

Reforger has its own built-in **Workshop** (no Steam Workshop involved). You add mods to your server's config, the server downloads them on startup, and — this is the best part — **clients automatically download the same mods when they join**.
